I am a licensed clinical social worker offering psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families and clinical consultation and supervision to mental health professionals.
I specialize in working with individuals and families that have experienced trauma with a focus on relational trauma. I provide support in moving through challenges and distress related to depression, anxiety, C-PTSD (complex-post traumatic stress disorder), relationships, parenting, and other life transitions.
My work is influenced by the belief in the power of relationships to facilitate change and healing together with the belief in our inherent wisdom to heal and guide ourselves.
My compassionate and relational approach helps support and hold space for self-exploration that allows for a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. I consider how experiences impact our whole being (body, mind, and spirit), further shaping our worldview and how we relate to others and ourselves. Through this greater awareness and connection come opportunities for self-compassion and growth, moving through what might feel challenging or stuck, and further helping you to achieve your goals. Years of working with survivors and families affected by intimate partner violence has shaped my practice that aims to empower, to help you be more present, connected, and in control of living the life you want.
I provide an integrated and relational approach rooted in psychodynamic therapy that combines mindfulness and somatic-based techniques. I draw from training in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-focused EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and Hakomi mindful somatic psychotherapy.
