Integrative Psychodynamic Therapy
This is an individualized, holistic, and relational approach that draws from various modalities and theories, informed by my own experience and trainings and collaboratively with your individual needs. My orientation is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which considers how past experiences/relationships impact the present and how unconscious or unresolved conflicts might contribute to present challenges. Talking through these experiences and gaining awareness and insight can be powerful in creating space for healing and change. Other approaches integrated might include cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques and mindfulness and somatic practices.

EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) was founded by Francine Shapiro and recognized as an effective psychotherapy technique for PTSD, to help alleviate distress connected to traumatic or other impactful experiences. I utilize an attachment-focused orientation to EMDR, developed by Laurel Parnell, which emphasizes the value and importance of the therapeutic relationship and can be particularly supportive when there has been early attachment and relational trauma/wounds. You can find more information here.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation
I provide individual and group supervision and case consultation for mental health professionals in private practice and within community based organizations. I bring expertise in the field of intimate partner violence.
